Precautions

We can NOT proceed cosmetic tattoo, if you:

• are Pregnant or Breastfeeding

• have Keloids or Keloid prone skin

• have any skin disease

• have health conditions

• Broken capillary on the tattooing area

• have Diabetes

• have a Heart condition

• have Highly sensitive skin

• have HIV, Hepatitis, or any blood transmitted diseases

• have allergies to medicines, or pigment.

• Under 18 years old

If you have serious health conditions and are taking medications, you’ll need to have professional medical advice.

Please avoid below, minimum of 2 weeks prior to the cosmetic tattoo treatment:

• Tanning or Sun bathing

• Botox, fillers, or cosmetic surgery around the eye area

• Using eyelash growth serum

• taking Accutane or strong retinoids (must wait until 6 months after the treatment ended)

• Eyelash extensions need to be removed 3 days prior to the treatment.

Before your treatment

You need to avoid taking the below for 2 days prior to your appointment;

• Caffein drinks (including energy drink)

• Alcohol

• Aspirin, and Ibuprofen

• Blood thinning medicine

• Vitamin E

• Fish oil

• Niacin

*Please do not put any eye make-up on before the appointment.

For contact lens users : Please remove your contact lenses before your treatment, and use of glasses is recommended for a few days after the treatment. Contact lenses can cause more discomfort during the healing process.

After treatment

Your eyes will feel heavy and tingle after the treatment, and in many cases the eyes will get puffy and feel uncomfortable on the next day. So please adjust your schedule as a “resting day” and avoiding driving is recommended. The puffiness could last up to 3 days for some people..

Nozomi will advise you about aftercare, it is very important for you to follow the aftercare instruction to prevent infection or uneven colour results.

Touch up

One touch up session after the first treatment is included in the price, and should be held 5-8 weeks from the initial treatment.

This session is to enhance the colour that is lost or faded through the healing process.

Treatment time for the touch up session will vary individually, 1 to 3 hrs depending on the result of healing.

How long do Eyeliner tattoos last?

Eyeliner tattoos usually last up to 2 years. Though, the colour won’t be completely gone, they will gradually fade out. People who use AHA/BHA face products or have more sun exposure could accelerate the fading process.

You will require colour boost sessions every 1-2 years to regain beautiful eyeliners.

Colour maintenance

This is for clients who have previously had Cosmetic eyeliner tattoos with Nozomi to boost the colour of eye-lines to make them look fresh again. It is recommended to have it done every 1 to 2 years to keep them looking beautiful.
