Lip blush tattoo

Lip blush tattoo

Lip blush Tattooing is a popular semi-permanent make up treatment that enhances the natural colour and contours of the lips.

Lip blush tattooing is meant to be subtle. It is NOT suitable for people who want a solid lipstick look.

What to expect

When it’s first completed, it can look like you have solid lipstick on,

then the colour will fade by 40-60% through the healing process,

and will heal to a soft sheer tint.

The final result will be a subtle, matte, natural tone.

You could wear lip gloss to enhance the colour.

Healing process

Total healing time for lip blush tattooing is only 1 week.

You’ll feel a little tingling on the lips right after the treatment. Swelling should be minimal but it can vary for each person. However, swelling should calm down after a few hours.

From day 2-3, your lips will get very dry and start to flake / peel.

By day 5, flakiness should be gone. The colour will fade away for the first few weeks, and gradually subtle tint will come back over a few weeks. You’ll see the final colour result at around 5 weeks.
